Infusion Center
The hours for the Infusion Center are from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. during the week and by appointment only on the weekends.
The Infusion Center is an outpatient department at Stamford Hospital that provides intravenous and injectable drug therapy and blood product administration to appropriate patients. Medication may be administered through peripheral or central venous access devices.
The Infusion Center works closely with attending doctors, the pharmacy, the Blood Bank and the Laboratory Department. Patients may be scheduled for admission by any physician on the medical staff at Stamford Hospital.
